The origins of QWSTION
The brand was founded in Switzerland in 2008 by 5 friends: Sebastian Kruit, the two industrial designers Christian Kaegi and Fabrice Aeberhard and graphic designers Matthias Graf and Hannes Schoenegger.
The intention was to be able to take the QWSTION bag with you both to the office and on the bikewithout it being out of context in terms of design.
The makers design and develop all of their products in their in-house design studio in Zurich. Kruit and Co. make the prototypes themselves. This makes it possible to test new ideas in terms of design and function at a very early stage. This is how you ultimately create the best QWSTION bag for you!

Transparent and fair production
Designed in Zurich, produced in Europe and China. A carefully selected and independent factory near Hong Kong has been taking care of the production of QWSTION products since 2009.
The owners Mrs. Wan and Mr. Lai bring with them a competent team as well as over 30 years of experience and passion, which is reflected in your QWSTION bag. In addition, their factory is audited byBSCI(Business and Social Compliance Initiative). This EU initiative is working to ensure that European standards with regard to working conditions and ecological aspects also find their way into non-EU countries. With a QWSTION backpack you make a clear statement and support fair textile production.
Environmentally friendly materials
Did you know that a large proportion of all textiles are contaminated with pesticides that are used to grow cotton? These pesticides are extremely harmful to the environment and us humans. QWSTION avoids such toxins by developing the materials itself. Regardless of whether it isa QWSTION backpack, handbagortote– they are all made almost entirely ofnatural and renewable fibersand are not contaminated with harmful substances.
The materials used includeGOTS-certifiedorganic cottonandrecycled cotton, which is made water-resistant thanks to a PFC-free finish. The handles and straps of your QWSTION bag are made of rayon, nylon or cotton. Steel is used for the metal parts. All leather applications were purely vegetable tanned and naturally waxed.
In addition, QWSTION also continually develops its own sustainable and natural materials that are used in the bags and backpacks. An example here isBananatex®, a functional, waterproof textile made from banana fibersfrom which some backpacks and bags are made.

Habe den Rucksack erst ein paar Wochen und bin bisher sehr zufrieden. Die Verschlüsse und die Riemen wirken leider etwas dünn und windig, ich hoffe, dass das keine Sollbruchstellen sind, wäre sonst nicht so nachhaltig. Das ist das einzige, was ich ernsthaft zu bemängeln habe. Das Laptopfach ist leider nicht von außen zugänglich und ich fände es praktischer, wenn das Innenfach nicht aus Netzstoff wäre und es vielleicht ein Fach mehr gäbe. Aber ansonsten ist der Rucksack genau was ich gesucht habe. Wenn die Verschlüsse halten bin ich glücklich damit.
Das ist nun schon mein dritter Kauf bei Fair Couture und alle waren von der Bestellung bis zu Lieferung 1A.
Zum Produkt:
Wer Bellroy kennt, der weiß was er an dieser Marke sowohl beim Design als auch bei der Qualität hat. Mit gefällt der Nachhaltigkeits- Gedanke.
Alles in allem bin ich mit der Arbeitstasche, sowie auch mal wieder mit der Abwicklung bei Fair Couture rundum zufrieden und kann beide vorbehaltlos weiterempfehlen. 👍
Die 100 Liter Version der Tasche hat ihre erste Reise sehr gut gemeistert und wir sind mehr als zufrieden mit ihr.
Allerdings hätte ich zwei kleinere Kritikpunkte am Design der Tasche. Ich persönlich hätte mir noch jeweils einen Griff an der Längsseite der Tasche gewünscht, damit man die Tasche besser mit einer Hand anheben oder tragen kann. Die zweite kleine Kritik betrifft das verstauen in der innenliegenden Tasche der Tasche, man muss schon viel Kraft aufwenden um die Tasche dort reinzustopfen und dann den Reißverschluss zu schließen.
